a few pictures from our tutorial lesson on building our characters, this was both fun and enjoyable to do. my character that I want to build is a King Kong inspired with gorilla-like features but with a surprising twist so hopefully it will come out the way I expect. after finishing building the structure of the model we will then put paper Mache to make a strong cast and to give the model a more human like feature. also it will be easier for us to animate with it s it wont be falling over or wobbly.I'll keep posting pictures during the process.

this video was so was very entertaining and catchy and yet had such a simple twist on it. plus the music went well with the clip, I might have to do one similar to this.

the nightmare before Christmas holds it's place as one of the most famous stop motion animated film by none other than Mr Tim Burton himself. it is still as cool as ever in 3D and to it's original 1993 release.

the animation is amazing and so are the songs, defiantly on my Christmas movie watches.
still researching into more ideas in what I should do for my own animation video and just saw this Lego toilet fall vid. so HILARIOUS. this video was very imaginative and creative with many humorous aspect which keeps the audience engaged.

behind the scenes look at the hand craft creations of the Fantastic Mr Fox movie. this film is an all time classic and has a high quality stop motion animation, I really like how the film gives off an realistic modern twist and the m=amount of effort put into it.

getting inspired with many ideas of my own mini animation.

Willis O'Brian was an motion picture and stop motion animator, he was responsible for some of the most famous, popular cinema images from films such as The lost world and king Kong. O'Brien was so certain that this idea would take off, that he went about creating a test reel to sell the ideas to producers.
the Lost world was a huge success but O'Brian  had his difficulties in following up the success of his first grand picture.

I feel that Willis O'Brian was a phenomenal animator and he contributed into making one worlds best and most popular stop motion just because of his ability to think outside the box and to always deliver something new and unexpected to the table.
