this is a front/side view of my finished set, I am really happy with it and I feel it meets my expectations. I decided to go with a kitchen theme because it went well with the storyline and with the main characters (Apple and Orange) and also it relates with the target audiences and their expectations. I was inspired by other animated videos such as Tom and Jerry and Pingu and looked at how they established certain scene within the storyline.

this is all my research of the history of animation and all the different techniques used from Claymation to flip book and researching into people like the Lumière brothers which helped me discover so many things about stop motion and where it all started from.

this is my mood board with all my inspiration and ideas behind my stop motion that I am going to create. I have decide to make something using fruit just because it is easy to play with and will be suitable for my target audience. the music video included a face made entirely out of fruit was very interesting and stood out for me because it of the different range of movement and techniques.

this particular video inspired me to create an animation surrounding fruit which will be used to make various object sequences. the target audience for this would most likely be young children from the age of 9-12 years old. my video is very simple but includes some fighting/competitive aspects , interactive aspects with it which makes more suitable for an younger audience. I want to include most of the primary fruits such as Oranges, apples, bananas etc. and they individual come in making different shapes and then join together to make a face.  the background will be from paper or cardboard ( which ever is better/easier to work with) and I will basically draw the scene/setting that I want. the video will be around 15-30 seconds. this type o video would be exhibited/shown on various children's websites and online.

this happy birthday video was very interesting and fun to watch, I really like the way it creates a story and allows the viewer to interact with everything that is happening. it very imaginative as we see a person sending a happy birthday message to his girlfriend. I particularly like the part where creates the email letter box and creates a heart with the birthday date along the bottom. I like the fact that main props involved were just paper ( post-it notes and A4 paper and cut outs).
